Nano Tech Enterprise and Vytrus Biotech have announced an agreement to distribute Vytrus products in 15 Middle Eastern and African countries: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Nigeria, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, Tunisia and United Arab Emirates.
The agreement benefits both parties: it boosts Vytrus' international expansion and extends Nano Tech Enterprise's premium-quality, innovation-based cosmetics product portfolio.
Vytrus Biotech was set up in June 2009 as Phyture Biotech, a spin-off of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Barcelona. It originated from a research unit with over 40 years' expertise in plant stem-cell culture technology. The company launched its first cosmetics ingredient in 2011. In 2012, it joined Inkemia, a group listed on Spain's MAB alternative equity market. It made its first foray into the international market in 2014.
